Relive your childhood memories at Science Centre!

Yes! I went to Science Centre today! There are currently new exhibitions, so go while they are still there!

Like, CSI : The Experience , Robot Zoo and Some dinosaur thingy!

Beside Science Centre is the Snow City too! Since it's the season, and Singapore doesn't snow. (deal with it)

We have Snow City to make up for this!

So basically i went to Science Centre today for my CCA.

Supposed to lead a 'group' of people for the CSI Exhibition.

Let me tell you guys! If you are going for it.

Don't ever buy the tickets for the exhibit only! It's costs $20.

Might as well get the package for $21! Which includes entrance to the Science Centre AND the exhibit!

The ticket for the exhibit, awesome isn't it?!

Science centre is always crowded for some reason, hmmm wonder why.

Cause no photography is allowed in the exhibit. :< 

Anyway! The exhibit it quite interesting, 3 crime scenes, 2 labs, 1 autopsy room.

Quite cool quite cool! There are even contests there!

Where you can stand to win ... wait for it.... an iPAD! 

Yes, a bloody iPad! And supposedly when you finish the exhibit, you get this 'diploma'.

Okay, no exemption in year 3 module for Forensic Science. sad.

Hahaha, quite efficient. I think kids will dig this, for me .. quite lame ah! HAHAHA.

Exhibit ends, now we're touring Science Centre!

Sitting on the electric chair is some siao ding dong. Too bad he didn't die. HAHAHHA.

This supposedly is some eel. This thing forever stays in one position. i don't know why.

No energy to move one. Touch it and it'll zap you. Mahahaha.

So basically that's the end of it.

Wanted to make like a huge long post one lor. Stupid exhibit cannot take photos.

But, families should really bring their kids there! Let them know what CSI is really about.

And some introduction to science! Can make them interested! Maybe can even come BMS next time!

Hello holidays!

Hello lovely bunch of people!

I am officially back from exams! It is now officially holidays! 

Common tests ended on friday - After that we had a class gathering, with a few gone. 

But it was entertaining, love the things Dr.Charmaine come up with.

But then again, she set the CTs damn hard, urgghhhhh.

Ordered pizza from Canadian 2-for-1!

And Yanfang was like a monsterrrrrrr, my god!

After the CT, everybody was like brain dead, hungry.

So we sat in this circle, eating, it was like super quiet. 

Damn freaking rare moment!

If you're wondering what those pieces of paper are at the back.

It's a game Dr.Charmaine asked us to play! We were kinda like reluctant at first.

But it was freaking hilarious. Heehee.

So basically, you have this piece of paper behind you. 

People are supposed to write what they think of you, positive stuff only!

So the class 'queued' up behind each person and wrote stuff.

It's kind of scary when people suddenly laugh behind your back and start writing stuff.

After one round, the results are super shocking! 

It was a super enjoyable session!

I was so excited when i heard some I&E group said they're bringing Starbucks to NP for their I&E!

Ha, i bet their going to get like AD for their module.

Because it's Starbucks! If i was their lecturer, i bet i would give them AD.

Anyway, i got Mocha Frappucino! It was okay, given the fact that students made them.

Well, was kind of sad that they removed green tea -___-.

But nevermind, it satisfied my craving since like.. don't know when.

Shall help promote them!

[SF] Colorful Orange Juice!

Hello, this may be considered part II or something like that because this event happened on thursday!

HAHA, but there's still some missing links in between, but i'll just update first. 

Most likely there'll be another post on charity bazaar. (doubt so)

i've been telling/answering everyone that my cca is SCIENCE FUSION.

well, i know it sounds geeky, but with the new committee and everything coming up.

It'll be more than science and technology.

You'll be surprised how different people at LSCT are compared to other schools.

We are in fact one of the most hyper bunch of people in NP! (hip and happening!)

So, SF set up a booth for Ideawerks : Innovate in Science and Technology.

We had 2 experiments, Expanding Gummy Bears & Colorless orange juice!

I'm here to just update on that day!

With loads of pictures of course!

Well, 1. Water. 2. Citric Acid. 3. Sugar. For better taste, you shld add in orange peel oil!

AHAHA, yes! i made hwaiyi my "model" again!

Part I - Jewel's birthday !

Hellos! It's been ages since i updated!

It's kind of late at night and i got stuff to do, but i'm going to update Part I of this week!

Tuesdays are full of surprises!

Happy 17th Birthday Jewel Loo Si Ya! 

So it all started on 30th November, and it's like some super popular day?

So many people's birthday. Going to take this chance to wish some people Happy Birthday too!

Like, yea, some of the more close ones. heez.

So yes! Tuesday! (runs back to topic).

Apparently, some part of the class decided to dress up in smart-casual wear for this first time!

Guys in black shirts, Girls in dresses.

Jewel also wore a dress for the first time in school with heels!

Rhoda wore super freaking high heels, and she looked surprisingly gorgeous! (note surprisingly) HAHA LOL.

And yes, people were like "why you all wear until like that?! Got presentation isit?" "Wedding Dinner?"

EPIC.

We presented her with the present during Microbio tutorial, the last lesson of the day.

I love this photo ttm can! Look like club instead of some boring tutorial class.

But FYI, MB tutorial that day was.. SUPER FUN and EPIC ttm!

and so.. Microbio tutorial began. 

and that's our lovely Dr.Charmaine pointing the whacker at me.

She was like, : " no you don't! " haha, didn't know Dr.Charmaine was so camera shy eh? HAHA.

And we're sitting in a circle formation, (waiting for someone to drop from the sky)

and the game we're playing is ... MICRO WHACKO!

It's funny how people have damn scared expressions during this game. haha.
So here's how the game is played,
You sit in this circle, there's a whacker, the whacker goes to a random person (A)
(A) has to say anything related to microbiology, then the whacker has to continue with that topic!
If the whacker fails to answer, (A) can say shoo and the whacker has to go to someone else.
However, if (A) fails to answer back, the whacker WHACKS (A), and (A) is the whacker for the next round. This game goes on for like the whole tutorial class.

END OF MB TUTORIAL

So.. we proceed to some benched area and ...
i'll let the pictures do the talking.

In case you still have no idea what happened..
I summarised the main points for you, heez.

1. Tricked Jewel into eating cake full of toothpaste.
2. Smashed cake into Jewel's face.
3. Toothpaste war.

Well, in between the war got more funny parts. 

Like example, junwei running around campus to chase eddy without wearing shoes.

Hana trying to escape from the guys who are trying to get her. She screams damn loud.

..... crazy people. crazy person's birthday ma, so all crazy. :/
